Use the full 17-character VIN whenever possible. Add the OEM or manufacturer part number from the old part, not only the workshop nickname.
Practical fitment guide
A practical process for matching a Chinese car spare part using the VIN, OEM number, old-part label, vehicle details, and photos.
Use the full 17-character VIN whenever possible. Add the OEM or manufacturer part number from the old part, not only the workshop nickname.
Write down the make, model, model year, engine, transmission, body style, driven axle, and GCC market specification. Small specification changes can change the part.
Capture the complete part, label, connectors, mounting points, and left or right orientation. Keep the label readable and include a scale reference where size is unclear.
Before dispatch, compare the SKU or OEM reference, vehicle specification, and current item photo. A visual resemblance by itself is not proof of fitment.
Use the full VIN together with the old-part number and clear photos of its label, connectors, and mounting points.
